The Ton April Challenge - Anything Goes

Happy April Fool's day!  Don't worry, there's no fooling around going on here on my blog today.  Instead I'm kicking off my first assignment as an official member of The Ton's design team.  On the first day of every month The Ton hosts a challenge over on their Challenge Blog and we're hoping YOU join us for some cardmaking fun and the chance to win a
$50 gift certificate to The Ton by entering your card following this month's theme....Anything Goes!

Today I made a fun birthday card using this cute little Honey Bears stamp and die set, the Bokeh Burst Round stamp set, Scripty Greetings stamp set and one of my favorites, the Minor Stripes Cling Background stamp.  I love lining the edge of my cards with  black and white stripes.

For this card I used the following supplies:
Stamps:  Honey Bears, Bokeh Burst Round, Scripty Greetings, Minor Stripes Cling Background (The Ton).
Ink:  Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet, Red Sangria, Noir (The Ton).
Paper:  White 110 lb cardstock (Neenah).
Accessories:  Honey Bear Dies (The Ton), circle die, Stardust Stickles, twine, fun foam, Copic Markers, dimensional tape (3M).

When stamping the Bokeh Burst Round I rotated it a little each time I switched ink colors and it filled in nicely.  You can see I have incorporated all three colors from The Ton's
 Couture Color Ruby Collection:
Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria.

There's a little party hat in the Honey Bears stamp set that I thought would make a cute, colorful banner.

Now it's your turn!  You have until April 30th to create and enter your cards over at The Ton Challenge Blog.  You can enter as many times as you like and you have a whole month to do it!!  Have fun!!

Reminder:

Join me here on Monday because it's Spring Release Week at The Ton.  Every day next week I'll be posting cards  using their brand new line of stamps.  Stop by and take a look!

Until then......

Have a great weekend and Happy Stamping!
