Hi everyone. With Easter weekend fast approaching I thought I'd share a few sweet little cards I made to celebrate our furry, floppy eared, cotton tailed, carrot eating, hole digging, garden raiding friend.
My first card was some coloring fun using Copic markers and this large Rabbit stamp and die set by Kaisercraft. I'm not going to lie, it took some serious patience and concentration to color in all of these tiny little flowers and leaves. But just look how beautiful!
Stamps: Rabbit (Kaisercraft), Celebrate Everyday (Hero Arts), Minor Stripes Cling Background (The Ton). Inks: onyx black (Versafine), Soft Garden (The Ton), Copic markers. Paper: Premium White Cardstock (Catherine Pooler Designs). Accessories: Rabbit Die (Kaisercraft), twine, clear Wink of Stella glitter pen, dimensional tape (3M).
An interesting part of this die set is that each of the larger sized flowers have their own dies. I cut them out and added a little dimensional tape to pop them up.
My next card is soft and simple using the Bunnies and Bows die set by Lil' Inker Designs and the Merry Label dies from the Candy Cane Lane Stamp of Approval Collection. Your eyes are drawn straight to the little bunny on this card where where the pretty orange is showcased using The Perfect Reason stamp set. I liked the clean look of this cardfront so I decided to forego the sentiment and just add a "Happy Easter" to the inside.
Stamps: The Perfect Reason (Stamp of Approval/The Perfect Reason Collection/Catherine Pooler Designs), Striped Backgrounds (My Favorite Things). Ink: Soft Sand (Hero Arts), Orange Twist (Catherine Pooler Designs). Paper: Natural (My Favorite Things), Premium White Cardstock (Catherine Pooler Designs). Accessories: Bunnies & Bows (Lil' Inker Designs), Perfect Vine dies (Stamp of Approval/The Perfect Reason Collection), Merry Labels Dies (Stamp of Approval/Candy Cane Lane Collection), twine, dimensional tape (3M).
I cut the Perfect Vine dies from the same natural cardstock as the label to add some interest as well as keeping with the organic look of the card. I also tied a big bow with some natural twine.
For my final card of Bunny cheer I'm using my absolute favorite bunny stamp EVER! I ran across this adorable little guy and just had to have him. Look at that face! So sweet and so easy to color with Copic markers. I went with a full out cartoon/childrens book feel for this card. From the awesome scripty Hello sentiment from the Hello World stamp set to the stenciled clouds and stamped butterfly it just has that animated look that I was going for.
Stamps: Bunny and Egg (Art Impressions), Hello World (Catherine Pooler Designs), Happy Mail (WPlus9). Ink: Tumbled Glass, Old Paper (Ranger Distress), Midnight (Catherine Pooler Designs), Copic Markers. Paper: Premium White Cardstock (Catherine Pooler Designs). Accessories: Hello World dies (Catherine Pooler Designs), Chevron Cloud dies (Simon Says Stamp), Blueprints #15 dies (My Favorite Things), fun foam.
I gave this bunny, along with the Hello greeting a little lift with some fun foam.
Well, that's my Easter cards for this year. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and are able to share some time and maybe even a little sunshine with your family this weekend.
Have a great day!
