Ho, ho, ho!! For the rest of the week we'll be celebrating Christmas! The Ton has some amazing new holiday stamps with coordinating dies and I can't wait to show them to you. Today I have two cards using two of these festive beauties. Both of them are layered sets. For the first one I used:
Christmas Wreath Builder
This 6x8" set stamps a gorgeous layered pine wreath and a few added elements including a layered poinsettia, holly leaves, pine cones, branches and berries and a big layered bow. The wreath is a big 3" in diameter so it will definitely command center stage on your card. The bow is 1 3/4" long. Here I paired it with The Ton's Minor Stripes Cling Background for a festive, traditional look. I hand cut this wreath because I don't have the die but it worked out well for a place to house the sentiment.
Stamps and dies: Christmas Wreath Builder, Minor Stripes Cling Background, Double Stitched Rectangle dies (Large) (The Ton).
Ink: Valentine Red, Plumb Wine, Deep Emerald, Basil Mojito, Aspen Cocoa, Everglade Moss (The Ton). Old Paper Distress (Ranger), clear emboss (Versamark).
Paper: Silver Glitter Adhesive Paper (The Ton), solar white 80 lb and 110 lb cardstock (Neenah).
Accessories: Frosted Spearmint Couture Mix, clear embossing powder, clear glitter embossing powder, gold glitter pen (Gellyroll), dimensional tape.
I layered some glitter embossing powder over this wreath for some sparkle and shine.
On both of my cards today I used The Ton's brand new:
Frosted Spearmint Couture Mix
For my next card I stayed with the traditional Christmas colors using another new layered stamp set:
Holly Branch
This 6x6 set gives you the option of layering but it also has an outline image that you can color with your markers if you like. I honestly love the option of quickly stamping the color onto the holly. I'll be making more of these, assembly line style this Christmas season.
Before stamping on this card I lightly blended some distress ink in two opposite corners. Then I just stamped right over the blended ink using inks from The Ton. Another thing I love about this set are the 5 sentiment choices. This one fits perfectly in the small die from The Ton's Large Double Stitched Rectangle dies.
Stamps and Dies: Holly Branch, Christmas Wreath Builder, Double Stitched Rectangles (Large) (The Ton).
Ink: Noir, Deep Emerald, Everglade Moss, Aspen Cocoa, Spiced Chai, Valentine Red, Plum Wine (The Ton). Old Paper Distress (Ranger).
Paper: solar white 110 lb cardstock (Neenah).
Accessories: New Years Mix (The Ton), clear embossing powder, craft foam.
And there's that beautiful bow again!!
