For my first card today I used The Ton's brand new scene builder stamps:
Scenes: Fireplace
Fireplace Accessories
Fireplace Holiday Accessories
City Girls Winter Edition
I have to admit, this it the funnest day of the week for me. I absolutely love these scene builders and the
City Girls Winter Edition set is adorable!! The sentiments are so fun too. For this card I stamped the
Scenes: Fireplace in The Ton's Smoky Quartz die ink. I wanted to keep the background muted so that my little City Girl could be the star of the show. I don't have the coordinating dies for these sets yet but they are available and definitely at the top of my wish list. For now I hand cut the wreath and "boots" from the Fireplace Holiday Accessories set. The boots are actually stockings but I thought they'd look cute as Santa's boots. The rug from the
Fireplace Accessories set is the perfect place to house a sentiment so I hand cut that too.
Ink: Smokey Quartz, Noir, Caviar (The Ton), Copic Markers.
Paper: solar white (Neenah).
Accessories: Deck the Halls Couture Mix, clear embossing powder, craft foam.
The little lady from the City Girls Winter Edition was colored with Copic markers and also hand cut.
For my second card we're going to the:
Holiday Ballet
On both cards today I also used the beautiful new:
Deck the Halls Couture Mix
I think this is my favorite card and the Holiday Ballet stamp set is my favorite from this collection. I really love the magic of the Nutcracker ballet and this card was so fun and easy to make. I stamped and embossed the tree on Bristol watercolor paper with silver embossing powder. Then I stamped the ballerina and added the little nutcracker with
The Ton's Copic safe Caviar ink. I watercolored the tree with Zig Kuretake Real Brush Markers and water, then colored the ballerina with Copic markers and hand cut.
Ink: Caviar, Noir (The Ton), clear emboss (Versamark), Zig Kuretake Real Brush Markers.
Paper: Silver Glitter Adhesive Paper (The Ton), white watercolor (Bristol), solar white 110 lb cardstock (Neenah).
Accessories: Deck the Halls Couture Mix (The Ton), silver embossing powder, clear embossing powder , dimensional tape. .
I popped the ballerina up with some dimensional tape so it looks like she is mid-leap.
